From February-May 2015, at several schools in The Netherlands, students have been working on a teaching module about Carbohydrates in Mother’s Milk, that has been developed at Science LinX for the EU-project IRRESISTIBLE. As a final assignment of this project, students developed an exhibition on what they learned using an IKEA-bookcase (according to the EXPOneer principle). These exhibitions were showcased for several weeks at the schools.

On the 5th of June 2015 teacher Marta Espírito-Santo and her three 5th grade classes (10-11 years old) involved in the IRRESISTIBLE project presented their final exhibition on RRI in Polar Science. They were developing the module and the products for this exhibition since February 2015.

This game was part of the exhibition developed by a group of students from the 5th grade (10-11 years old) and their science teacher (Relíquia Abreu) from the Portuguese school "EB 2/3 Nun'Alvares" in Seixal (PHOTO 1). Throughout the year they have been working on the module about Polar Science and some of the students decided to develop a game for the final exhibition.

This week, two student-curated exhibitions were finalized in Kiel and Rendsburg. Both exhibitions are the final presentation of the newly developed IRRESISTIBLE module on Oceanography: Plastic – bane of the ocean.

As part of the Irresistible project, 5 interactive exhibitions, composed of the exhibits constructed by 8th-10th grade students, were created. The exhibitions were presented in schools in Krakow, Czernichów and Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. The exhibitions concerned the issues related to the cutting edge research as well as to process of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). The exhibitions invited the audience to a journey through the nano-world.
